I have been painting for 7 years.  Initially I started painting as a way to ease my mind after major health setback.  I quickly realized that while painting I was focused on the canvas and the thoughts and fears I had about my health went from the forefront of my mind to the background.

I create using both acrylic and watercolour paints.  My inspiration comes from my love of nature and travel and sometimes a specific colour I'm drawn to.

I enjoy teaching both adult and children's painting classes at the St. Andrews Community Club, the St. Andrews Heritage Centre, the odd small paint classes in my home.  I am a member of Gwen Fox Gallery in Selkirk, Manitoba.  I have had my art juried into the Interlake Juried Art Show, the Rural & Northern Juried Art Show and recently the Manitoba Society of Artists Open Juried Art Show.

My art has received recognition from several art shows.

I am the Creative Director behind Interlake Artist Collective.
